When Your Life Looks Right, but Feels Wrong - Human Design, Reinvention, and the Courage to Choose Yourself with Ana Moskus
Some conversations stay with you long after the recording ends. This was one of those.
When I sat down with Ana Moskos on Carrie On!, I wasn’t just interviewing a guest—I was sitting across from a woman whose evolution I’ve witnessed up close for years.
Ana and I have collaborated on countless BRA Network events and creative projects over the last decade. She’s been behind the scenes shaping the atmosphere of so many rooms where women gathered to connect, lead, and rise—including the Wealthy Women Summit, where she stepped into the spotlight as a panel moderator, guiding powerful conversations with clarity, depth, and calm authority all about my favorite topic, MONEY!
What many people didn’t see back then was that while Ana was helping create spaces for other women to thrive, she was quietly questioning the life she had built for herself.
From the outside, it all looked right.
- A beautiful home.
- A successful business.
- A fiancé.
The kind of life we’re told to want.
But inside, something was whispering: This isn’t it.
In this episode, Ana shares how discovering Human Design gave her language for something she had always felt but couldn’t fully articulate. It wasn’t about blowing her life up overnight or rejecting everything she had built. It was about finally asking better questions:
What isn’t a fit? What need isn’t being met? Is this discomfort an inside job, or a sign I’ve outgrown the container I’m in?
During the pandemic pause, when the events industry shut down and the busyness disappeared, those questions got louder. Ana made the gut-wrenching decision to end her engagement, put her life in storage, and get on a train with no clear destination.
What followed wasn’t a glossy “eat, pray, love” montage. It was grief. Unraveling. Long nights alone. And, thankfully, community. Many of the women who had sat in BRA rooms Ana helped design were the same ones holding her up as she fell apart and rebuilt.
Eventually, that train journey led her to Antigua, Guatemala, where she now lives and works, reimagining not just her business, but her relationship to success, community, and freedom.
Today, Ana leads with a deeper clarity. Her work has evolved into The AM, where she supports leaders, change-makers, and creatives using Human Design as a strategic, grounded tool—not a “woo” escape hatch, but a permission slip to stop overriding yourself.
This conversation is for any woman who has ever thought:
“I should be grateful… so why do I feel trapped?”
“Is it okay to want something different?”
“What if the life I built isn’t the life I’m meant to keep?”
You don’t have to light everything on fire.
But you do have to stop suffering in silence.
